Overview

CrimePulse is a full-stack public-safety platform built to let citizens report crimes anonymously or through registered accounts while preserving reporter privacy. It supports geotagged complaints with photo/video evidence, privacy-preserving crime heatmaps, crime-related news, emergency information, and an administrative workflow for reviewing reports, updating case status, and analyzing crime activity. Its backend is organized as Ballerina microservices for authentication, complaints, newsfeed, and uploads, backed by MongoDB and integrated with external mapping, media, news, and anti-spam services.
